Armentrout gave me a book that I didn’t want to put down. The author explains the world, but I loved that I knew a lot of things while reading Storm and Fury. It’s a spinoff and can be read separately, but you’ll understand the cameos and the world just a little bit more. I do want to start this review by saying that I really recommend reading The Dark Elements trilogy before starting this series. But all bets are off as a supernatural war is unleashed… Storm and Fury (The Harbinger, #1) by Jennifer L. To save her family and maybe the world, she’ll have to put her trust in Zayne. Zayne has secrets of his own that will upend her world yet again-but working together becomes imperative once demons breach the compound and Trinity’s secret comes to light.

Storm and Fury is the first book in this new series. The Dark Elements is a really good trilogy and I was really excited when she announced a spinoff series. I’m a lucky reader that has found an amazing list of authors that have become favorites of mine.
